thr3e was created in Chicago as part of the DanceBridge Project through the department of Cultural Affairs during the summer of 2006.

Director Sinead Kimbrell is joined by New Orleans native Myrle-Marie Bongiovanni and Chicago native Helen Lee. The piece started as an exploration of transitioning from Sinead's home of Portland, Oregon and her new life in Chicago, though it has developed into an emotional trio about people coming together and then dissolving.

The piece will be performed to the music of Alison Breitman with live vocals and guitar.
